Okay mamas! Its time to start spring cleaning if you haven’t already! I have a little tip to make money just for cleaning out your closet. thredUP is an online consignment shop where you can send your clothes and they’ll sell them for you. Here’s a break down of what happens when you sell on thredUP:
- Order a clean out kit.
- Fill the bag with all the items you no longer wear. There is a prepaid label to make it easy for you.
- When thredUP receives your bag, they will inspect each item to make sure it’s up to their standards. Every accepted item will be put on their site for sale. You can choose to have them donate the remaining items or send them back to you.
- You will be paid upfront for any items valued under $60. For everything above $60, you’ll receive payment after the items sell. You can use the Earnings Estimator to get an idea of how much your items are worth. You can get your payment via store credit, donate it to a cause, or transfer the cash to PayPal.
Pretty simple right? Just order a bag, fill it up, send it out, and wait to collect your money! All for getting rid of clothes you don’t wear anymore anyway! I’m going to be working on that this coming month so I’ll let you know how much I end up making! I love shopping on thredUP and hopefully, I’ll love selling as well. If you haven’t tried shopping at thredUP yet, you can click this link to get a $10 coupon toward your first purchase.
