Thank you to Goddess Garden for sponsoring this post.
In my family we spend a lot of time playing sports, I mean A LOT of time! This past weekend Tyler had an AAU tournament. He had games on both Saturday and Sunday but of course, the boys wanted to play basketball outside before, during, and after their scheduled games. Thank goodness it was beautiful day and luckily, they were willing to try out some Goddess Garden sunscreen and let me take some pictures.
The boys all tried out the Goddess Garden Sport sunscreen and they agreed that the smell “was fine” and it “felt fine” on their skin…for teenage boys, that’s really good. My son was outside for hours during some of the worst hours for burning and he didn’t get any color at all – for a fair-skinned red-head, that’s really good. He also told me after that he forgot he had sunscreen on and he absolutely HATES wearing sunscreen so if you have a child who doesn’t like the feeling of sunscreen, you should definitely try Goddess Garden.
Since the boys are in FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America), I had them help me with this campaign. They decided to come up with some marketing ideas which included “Goddess Garden: Give You Great Handles” and “Goddess Garden: You’ll Never Miss Another Shot”. There was a lot more where that came from. They had me giggling with all of the promises they were making on behalf of Goddess Garden so I had to explain to them about honesty when marketing a product. I have to tell you, Goddess Garden won’t make your kids any better at sports BUT it will protect them from the sun without using any dangerous chemicals. To me, that’s more than enough to make me love this product.
I want to thank Goddess Garden for giving me the opportunity to review their products. I get pitched to daily and I choose to work with only brands that I am proud to align myself and my blog with. I was compensated for this post but all of my opinions are my own.
