Oh, those toys that can cause hours of peacefulness with the children and the excruciating pain in the evening finding them left out. Yes, Legos, the toy most parents have a love/hate relationship. Luckily, those building blocks have a lot more of a purpose than just being left on the floor as mines.
Key Ring Holder
Lego sells a specific Lego piece that you can attach a key ring to, which will allow you to create a customized key holder. With a little bit of hot glue, a flat Logo sheet, and then a figurine that you would like, you can begin crafting. You can find Lego men that are modeled after Star Wars and Indiana Jones.
You can turn any Lego figurine into a necklace with a small screw eye. You will want to make sure you start with a small pinprick in the hair to make it easier to put the screw eye in accurately. Once it is in and tightened, then you will be able to slide the necklace chain through.
What would complete a child’s bathroom as having a Lego hand soap container? It is very simple to make too! You will want to grab a few blocks and a clear hand soap container. Fill the container up 3/4 with clear soap, which will offer you space to move the Legos around. Finally, take the Lego blocks and position them in the soap. Put the pump back on and place it in the bathroom, then sit back and watch your children freak out from excitement.
I have seen many other crafts that are made with Legos, and the coolest one I have seen so far is a lampshade made from Legos. With these timeless toys, you are likely to see the number of odd crafts to go up as the creativity of children continues to grow. You will also be able to resist the urge to throw them when you step on one while going to tuck your child in at night.
